WRITE FOR TV

Do you have a story you need to tell? If you’d like to learn the craft and structure of writing a TV drama script, and are interested in an immersive, 1-on-1 experience (IRL or via Zoom), please contact me at 59jamesstreet@gmail.com.

Space is limited given the 1-on-1 nature of the course, so don’t delay! Evenings are filling up for Summer 2025. Flexible start dates mid to end of May through the end of September. NEW FOR SUMMER 2025: With six or more students signing up, professional actors from Chicago will read excerpts from each student’s script at a special “Night of Drama” event at The Community House in Hinsdale this October. Additionally, each script will have been read by a panel of working TV writers, who will Zoom in “Live From Hollywood” to give feedback to each student on their script!

TESTIMONIALS

Nate Provenzano, a former Hinsdale student, was accepted with a scholarship beginning Fall 2025 at Chapman University’s prestigious Dodge College of Film and Media Studies (ranked USA’s #4 film school by The Hollywood Reporter). Nate submitted an excerpt from a 62-page drama pilot he wrote while taking my course, and was not only accepted but won a screenwriting scholarship! “Grant helped me organize my ideas and mold them into a cohesive narrative. He also provided me with instruction all the way through to the last page.” — Nate Provenzano
